When got there, you told me you knew how to spell “but.” When I saw the picture, I said, “Butt has two t’s.” I was just messing with you, but as smart as you are, you said, “not THAT butt!” “Mom and Dad said they would take us skating, BUT we had other plans.” I could not believe you threw that sentence at me and you only being in kindergarten. I don’t know where you got to be so smart, but you surely didn’t get it from me! My first born, the light of my life, you are in my every thought. I wonder all the time, how on earth did you get so beautiful? I can’t tell you enough how pretty you are and I know you will get sick of hearing it from Me., but never let anyone tell you different. Bright blue eyes, shining long hair, glowing smile, and your big heart are all parts of you I will never forget; you couldn’t beat them out of me. The way you come and kiss me on the cheek for no reason, brings a love to my heart that only I know. Do you know that I still wake at night with a slight bit of worry? You’re eleven and all “grown up” now, but I still check on you every night. You don’t know it, but I do. I don’t care what you say or what you think, but you are still my baby. No matter how big you think you are. You’re just like your daddy, always have to be right. Perfect in everyway, I wonder how you could be mine. And smart, where did this come from? It surely was not me. You have been on the honor roll since you started school. I can tell you so much more, but these are what I notice the most. These are the memories of you now; it is what is burned into my heart. The love I have for you is greater than you will ever understand.

7 comments Family Resource id #6 Thu, 05 May 2005 12:55:33 -0400

by: misty

Description: JOURNALING Title: FONT: GF Halda Normal “One of the greatest acts of love that my husband has bestowed upon me us the kindness and gentleness that he bestows upon our children.” -Katrina Plum JOURNALING Tag: FONT: GF Halda Normal Glenn, I love you more than you will ever know.
