My son playing in the fountains at the Akron Zoo on Father's Day 2004. The big cherries are made with buttons and the stems and leaves are embroidered directly on the paper. The metal oval on the right side is actually die stamped with the words "Akron Zoo June 2004", but it didn't come out very well in the photo...

I used: Colorbok and K & Co papers; Making Memories metal frame, charmed phrase, oval Stitched Tin Plate, oval vellum tag; DMC embroidery floss; Doodlebug buttons

Hi! Thanks so much! I live in Medina. One of the greatest scrapbook stores I've been to is the Scrapbook Shop in Copley. It's right on Cleveland-Massilon Rd just north of Copley center. It's AWESOME, and probably not all that far from you in Barberton. Their website is [ link ] - they have a great selection of things I have never seen anywhere else and also really good hours. I am there quite a bit, and also Crop-Paper-Scissors in Medina. Please feel free to e-mail me, too - jlmerchant@zoominternet.net

Great touch with the buttons as cherries... I'll have to remember that! Maybe use light green ones as grapes, too. THanks for the inspiration!
