These are really very easy to make and cheap too!
Supplies:
Canvas Frame ( I purchased mine from Dollarama for $1.25 a piece!)
Some papers around 3 sheets of double sided papers
Trimmer & Scissors
Alpha and/or Title
A Good Strong adhesive I recommend Fabri-tac
Pearls, Ribbon and embellies
Step 1: Measure the depth of your canvas and cut 4 strips from a darker pattern of patterned paper, I find dot patterns work really well.

Step 2: Glue the canvas sides, not the patterned paper if you have any excess paper you can trim that off afterwards. I'm going to show you how to make your corners perfect
Glue on the top longest side first and leave a 1 inch tab either end.

Step 3: Turn to the side and glue the canvas slide your second strip up to the end so when your tab is folded down it will look even.

Step 4: Glue your tab down and smooth out

Step 5: Continue all the way around the bottom strip you will need to trim a little off so the paper slides beneath both corner tabs.

Step 6: Now we can work on the front of the canvas, you can decorate any way you wish

Step 7: Cut another strip of patterned paper around 3 inches, you can use border punches to accent the edges, glue them down when your happy, BUT DONT GLUE tothe CANVAS yet!!!

Step 8: If you machine or hand stitch it looks great as a border around your design so you can do that now.
Step 9: Add your picture/s and ribbon

Step 10: Now you can adhere your front layout to the canvas, smooth down your edges nicely.
Step 11: Add some finishing touches and your title, On the Christmas one I'm sending to my Mum I didnt need a title as I cut the paper to reveal the title as the titlework for my piece. Add a couple of flowers, sprinkle a few pearls and your DONE!

Now here is the real FUN part, Do my tutorial during our 25 days of Christmas and link back here for the chance to win these fabulous papers from Bo Bunny and coordinating buttons.
