Here's my first LO this month. Photo is of my mom on the verge of turning 13 in the Fall of 1944.

This LO features these great products from the SBD store:

Lily Bee Designs - French Couture Collection
Exclusive - http://www.scrapbook...h...at=0&page=1
Fashion Show - http://www.scrapbook...h...at=0&page=1
Fashion Frames Die Cuts - http://www.scrapbook...h...at=0&page=1
Fashion Essentials Die Cuts - http://www.scrapbook...h...at=0&page=1
Tattered Angels - Glimmer Mists
Burnt Red - http://www.scrapbook...h...at=0&page=1
Tuscan Sun - http://www.scrapbook...h...at=0&page=1

Designer Notes:
Once you remove the four die cuts from the Fashion Frames Die Cuts sheets, there's plenty of coordinating paper left behind on the 12x12 sheet, so be sure to punch some shapes. I punched the butterflies for my LO. And I used the Glimmer Mists to change the color of my paper flowers - love that!

My mom's high school graduation photo (photo taken Fall 1948) and she graduated in June 1949.

This LO features the following items from the SBD Store:

Daisy D's Pattern Papers
Beacon Scroll - http://www.scrapbook...h...at=0&page=2
Simple Pleasures Ledger - http://www.scrapbook...h...at=0&page=6
Antique Shop Floral - http://www.scrapbook...h...at=0&page=1
Prima
Got Flowers? Fall 1 - http://www.scrapbook...h...at=0&page=1
K&Company
Life's Journey Round Collage Buttons - http://www.scrapbook...h...at=0&page=1
Ink
Clearsnap Fluid Chalk Ink in Dark Brown - http://www.scrapbook...h...at=0&page=1
Tsukineko Multi-Surface Chalk Ink in Tea Leaves - http://www.scrapbook...h...at=0&page=2

Designer Notes: If you have emphemera to include and don't want to alter it in any way, then scan it to use on your LO like I did. I attached the original invitation in an envelope on the back of my LO. Because the invitation text is a very ornate script, I kept my title and journaling fonts simple. Of special note, my mom had replaced the gemstone in her class ring at some point, and I had found the original gemstone loose in the bottom of a cardboard box of her stuff, so I used it as a flower center.

Thanks, ladies! I just loved our themes this month and had so many thoughts for LOs. I'm hoping I can get to a couple of more smile.gif.

This LO features a few of my favorite things - two roses in my garden Frederic Mistral and Cherry Parfait. Yeah, I made a booboo in the journaling and will need to fix it later smile.gif. I confused Frederic w/ another rosebush I had called Peter Mayle. Unfortunately, Peter didn't survive GA's drought and my neglect.

This LO features the following items from the SBD Store:

Basic Grey - Bittersweet Collection
Belgian - http://www.scrapbook...h...at=0&page=1
Praline - http://www.scrapbook...h...at=0&page=1
Cherry Cordial - http://www.scrapbook...h...at=0&page=1
Hand-Dipped - http://www.scrapbook...h...at=0&page=1

Designer Notes: I had lots of fun adding some rose embellishments that have been in my stash for awhile and also stitching a border and adding pearls and rhinestone to enhance it. I think the stitched border really helps to frame the two photos.

This isnt really a May reveal, since the papers are from my last kit, but I thought Id put it here anyway. I plan to enter it in the Lily Bee mini album contest, but I think I might want to add something to spice it up a little first, just not sure what yet. Any ideas?

Just because it is from previous months does not mean it can't be used for your reveal...as long as it is from Dreamer all is good...your mini is AWESOME!

I'm having serious issues getting my projects photographed, because the weather will NOT cooperate. Anyway, here are my first two projects for the month. I've been in a vintage mood, so lots of random vintage finds making their way onto my stuff this month.

Motherhood - Little One Layout

Supplies from SBD store:
-Lily Bee papers
-Fancy Pants Summer Soiree papers
-3Bugs papers
-Doodlebug buttons

Also includes vintage crocheted doily.

Sweet Banner (thought this would make a great mother's day gift)

Supplies from SBD store:
-Broken China Distress Ink pad
-Basic Grey patterned paper
-Glue Dots

also includes letters cut from vintage french text and SNS ribbon
