For your challenge this month I want you to distress your chipboard.

You can use crackle paint, paint or cover with pp and sand, one of my favorites is paint then while still wet bend the chipboard a little, I did this on the starfish on this layout.

A name will be drawn from the posted layout for a Maya Road chipboard mini album, so I hope you will play along.

Awesome challenge Peggy!

I just did this on one of my DT LOs this month. After I adhered the chipboard alphas to the LO, I sanded and inked them.

Peggy is using a piece of cardboard close enough to using the regular chipboard?

Here you go Peggy, this was fun, I saw this photo at my Nieces of her son, they had Western day and he wanted to look mean. I thought it was so funny, I wanted to scrap it. Thanks for the challenge.

Thanks so much Peggy, I used raw chipboard letters from Basic Grey and I wiped a VersaColor Sky Blue pd over then then a Pinecone one then added a coat of the Ranger Inkssentials Crackle Accent that crackles as it dries.

This is how you get the letter to look like that.

I love it, all the different steps really add.

is Crackle Accent different than Crackle Paint?

Yes Crackle Accent is a clear liquid that you can use on photos too.
If you add it to photos, it gives a vintage, aged look.
