This month I challenge you to use a digi-hybrid frame on a project (layout, card, altered item). I just love frames and digi hybrid is one of the best ways to do them because you can customize them to the size of your photo. You can add a frame digitally and then print out the photo with the frame already around it. Or you can print out a frame and cut it out, or just print it on transparency like I did.
Here is an example that I made a while ago. I purchased this frame from Prima and printed it out on transparency.

here is the start of another example:

I really wanted to do a simple layout inspiration for this challenge, but I just havent gotten time to scrap yet. So here is the digi part of what will be my hybrid layout for this challenge. What I did was crop my photo to the desired size and make it black and white. Then I copied the frame (which is by rhonna farrer and was black but it was super easy to change to white. I just used the inverse alteration in photoshop)
Then I changed the size of the canvas to make it a little bigger all around. The added canvas space was transparent, so I used my paint bucket (making sure to have the background layer selected) and colored the border black.
Next I did the 'hard part'. (which isnt really hard but it is the part I didnt know how to do until recently.)
I did a transform on the frame layer becuase I wanted to make it the exact correct size to fit over the photo. I did a free transform, but there may be other ways to do it. When you do a free transform you get handles like when you crop, and you just drag them to where you want them, then you can move the whole thing to get it centered. then apply the transform (on photoshop I just press return) voila! now I am ready to print this awesome framed photo and do my page.
and here is the page from this
