I was ready to toss this little case once I had used the mints, but the scrapper in me wouldn't let me. So I tucked back into my purse until I had a chance to alter it.
Supplies Needed:

* empty Trident Mints Case
* Modge Podge
* Scissors & Craft Knife
* Patterned Paper of choice
* pop dots or glue dots
* embellishments of choice
Step 1:
You really don't have to peel off the label, but I did to make the surface tacky and a little rougher for the modge podge to stick to good.
Then using scraps of patterned paper I adhered it to the modge podge on the case.

Step 2:
This is how your case will look before you trim off the excess paper. Save the paper though as you will cover the sides of your case if you want too. Allow it to dry before trimming.

Step 3:
Using the craft knife, find the edge of the sliding lid on the case and cut the excess paper off. Make sure the paper is dry before doing this.

Step 4:
Using a permanent adhesive, Xyron 150, or modge podge, apply a slender ribbon across the side (and top if desired) of the sliding lid. Allow to dry if using a wet adhesive.

Step 5:
Embellish your case as desired.
Finished Project:

Some ideas for use:
* Designer mint case to keep in your purse
* storage case for eyelets, brads, or beads
