I will go for an easier one this month…

I would like to see you use:
5 pieces of Patterned Paper or Cardstock (can be either or combined.)
4- Photographs.
3 different embellishments (any choice e.g. ribbons, buttons, grunge board.)
2 sets of alphabets.
1 journalling card.

So this month is a little different, I want you to gather your supplies (only what is listed) and complete 2 layouts and 2 cards with your supplies.

You can combine this with any challenges and you will get a ticket in the barrel for each creation (so 4 for this challenge) and the winner will receive a charm for their siggy and a $10 voucher from me.

So can you be challenged???
If you have any questions, post here.

Upload your layout and link to the layouts on this thread by midnight November 30th. Winner will be chosen by a drawing from all who participate and receive a charm for your siggy.

Melanie.

Any Anna, you choose but only 3. For example I might grab a packet of Grungeboard, a packet of buttons and a roll of ribbon so I will use these 3 between the 4 creations.

Its a way to get you using the same supplies and cutting down on the preparation time but you choose what you want to use.

Katie, remember the 4 photos can be used over 2 pages so you might use 2 on each, 1 then 3, 4 then O or you might want to use one on the card so you make a picture card.

Yes it would Peggy. When I do this challenge I measure and cut out the cardstock that you wouldn't see when you assemble the laoyut e.g. under the photo/papers and thats what I use for the cards.

Nonnie, it means for example a sheet of alphabet stickers and a packet of thickers.
You would then use these 2 sets across the 4 creations. It can 2 sets of the same stickers or two different ones.

You can only use 4 photos all up so if you have 4 on each page that would equal 8 so too many. lol
A double spread layout will count as 2 pages but you must only use 4 photos all up.

As I said before, you can use a photo on a card too but please only 4 photos between the 4 creations.

Sorry if this is too restricting girls, I try to think of challenges that aren't too hard but will make you think and step outside the box to something new.

I have the photos picked put and will create soon but this week isn't the right time to scrap so it will be a little later.

Mel, I really want to thank you for this challenge. It was tough but it really made me think and plan so that I could really do what I needed to do with the supplies. And I think Anna is right, the most challenging projects can turn out really well. I am quite pleased with my results, perhaps because I tried stuff I hadn't done before. smile.gif I also want to thank you Mel for the idea of cutting the cardstock out behind the patterned papers, that allowed me to use more PP and I got more out of my PP as well.

Oh, and the 3 embellishments are ribbon, buttons and a paperclip

Here's page 1

I had actually tried to fussy cut some elements from my PP but got annoyed. I didn't have the patience for it last night. LOL But your flowers add just the right punch to the LO and card!

Your layouts and cards are fantastic Peggy and Michele. Well done.

Im glad you had a go and liked it, it really makes you sit down and create and not pull more supplies out. I started cutting the paper or cardstock that doesn't get seen as Im a tight wad but you will actually save on cardstock as you can use it for photo mats, journalling blocks or to make embellishments.

I will let you chose which one Peggy as you have more idea of the product them me. If you want to use them for the title, they are alphas but if they will embellish the title or page, I'd use them as Embellishments.
